2018 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD

New for 2018 are exterior colors: Cajun Red Tintcoat, Havana Metallic and Iridescent Pearl Tricoat. The tire pressure monitor system now includes tire fill alert; rear-vision camera is now standard on all models with cargo box; new grille mesh design is on the High Country and Z71, including two-bar chrome trim on High Country and two-bar black chrome trim on Z71.

Regular, double cab and crew cab models are offered across the lineup. Regular cab models feature an 8' box, while double cab and crew cab models are available with 6'6" or 8' boxes

Trim levels include Work Truck (WT), LT, LTZ and High Country. The LTZ trim is offered on double cab and crew cab models, while the High Country - Chevrolet's premium heavy-duty pickup - is offered exclusively on the crew cab

The Silverado High Country embodies rugged luxury and is offered exclusively in the crew cab. It is distinguished by a unique black mesh grille with two-bar chrome insert, 20-inch chromed aluminum wheels, all-terrain tires, body-color bumpers and more. Inside, it features premium leather, heated-and-vented front bucket seats with High Country logos on the headrests and brushed metal sill plates with the High Country logo.

Chevrolet has a redesigned Duramax 6.6L V-8 turbo-diesel offered on the Silverado HD. It has more horsepower and torque than ever before -- 445 horsepower and 910 lb.-ft. -- to enable easier, more confident hauling and trailering.

Along with a 19 percent increase in max torque over the current Duramax 6.6L, the redesigned turbo-diesel's performance is quieter and smoother, for greater refinement.

A new vehicle air intake system -- distinguished on the Silverado HD by a bold hood scoop -- drives cool, dry air into the engine for sustained performance and cooler engine temperatures during difficult conditions, such as trailering on steep grades. Cooler air helps the engine run better under load.
